     Virtual  Machine  Multiple  Logical  Terminal  Session  Emulator                                
                                                                                                    
                                                                                                    
     This program provides a facility to emulate much of the multiple                               
     logical terminal function/features of the IBM 3174 Control Unit.                               
                                                                                                    
     This facility runs in an ESA-MODE CMS virtual machine employing the                            
     VM Logical Device Control Facility to create multiple logical VM                               
     terminal sessions.  Like the MLT hardware the user can toggle thru                             
     the different active sessions by way of the "jump" key.  The sessions                          
     will be re-displayed in round-robin sequential fashion (1-2-3-...-1).                          
     Each non-displayed session is saved in the MLTS Service Machine as a                           
     3270 datastream built from a Read Buffer I/O command.  The datastream                          
     buffer may be updated while in storage if an ACCEPT is posted by CP                            
     for the Logical Terminal to receive data.  Upon re-display, the most                           
     recent 3270 datastream sent by CP is presented to the physical terminal.                       
                                                                                                    
     The simulator will present up to 8 sessions for each dialed port.                              
     Currently we support a four dialed ports, but future plans are for                             
     512 dialed ports per service machine.                                                          
                                                                                                    
     Each locally attached VM terminal will emulate up to eight logically                           
     independant terminals without the expense of mlt hardware upgrades.
