Procedure to trial the product:

Use a 3270 Terminal Emulator application (such as RUMBA, TN3270 or AttachMate EXTRA); 
or if you are on VM/ESA  use the TELNET command module to profide Telnet connectivity
to our VM TCP/IP virtual machine over the Internet.

 
 
If using a PC-based Terminal Emulator:
   
        Set TN3270E off  ( <===THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT ) 
        Set terminal model at 2-24x80 or 4-43x80 
        Set terminal type to 3278 or 3279

        Set the target IP address for  63.109.210.197     
        Set the target Port address to 23
 
        Start connection to target IP address.

 
 
If using VM/CMS Telnet:
   
        At the Ready; prompt enter:
 
               TELNET 63.109.210.197 

 
 
Logon to VM/ESA:
 
        At the VM Logo enter one of the trial userids.
        There are 5 trial userids named CMSUSER1 through CMSUSER5.
 
        ie.  Userid:   CMSUSER3
             Password: (not needed) 
 
        Hit the Enter Key, the logo will clear and you are logged on.
 
        CMS will load and post a   Ready;  prompt.
 
        Type  PROPROLL  and press the Enter key.
 
        Trial the product functions.
        Please be aware that you are not the Logical Operator, so you will not
        get the live message traffic of the live VM system.  However, you can
        generate your own messages by issuing CP commands.
 
        Type ROLLEXIT  or  HX  to exit the product.
 
        Type LOGOFF or  DISC to exit the VM Machine when you are done.
